# Classification

A pointcloud can contain classification information. That is, all points are categorized according to whether they can be defined as one of the following:

  • Never classified
  • Unclassified
  • Ground
  • Low vegetation
  • Medium vegetaion
  • High vegetation
  • Building
  • LowPoint(Noise)
  • Key-Point
  • Water
  • Overlap

By unticking a category, the corresponding points in the pointcloud are hidden.

The pictures below show a pointcloud where the color-method is set to Classification. In the second image, the High Vegetation category is hidden.
