# Clips

By creating boundaries, areas in a pointcloud can be hidden. The boundaries are saved in a list where they can be selected.

When a boundary is selected, it is zoomed to the pointcloud and a trashcan icon appears in the list. The delimitation can be deleted by clicking on the trash can ,.

All boundaries can be deleted by clicking on the trashcan icon in the toolbar.

# Clip Task

Depending on the selected view, parts of the pointcloud may be hidden or highlighted.

The defined boundaries are ignored.

# Highlight

Points that are affected by the defined boundaries are marked in red. Fremhæv

# Show Inside

Only points that are within the defined boundaries are displayed. Fremhæv

# Show Outside

Only points that are outside the defined boundaries are displayed. Fremhæv

# Method

If several delimitations are defined, then the method can specify how overlap is to be handled.

# Inside Any

All points that are within some of the boundaries are affected.

# Inside all

Only points that are within all boundaries are affected.

# Tools

Boundaries can be defined using the drawing tools.

# Volume Clip

A point in the pointcloud must be clicked to place a box. The box can be edited by clicking on it.

# Polygon Clip

Three or more points in the pointcloud must be clicked to place a polygon.

# Selection Box

The navigation must be turned on orthographic. A rectangle must be drawn in the pointcloud.
