# 2D Map

The 2D map is shown after a successful login. All pointclouds are shown as red lines or polygons on the 2D map.

The map can be zoomed in on by using the scroll wheel on the mouse. The map can be moved around by holding down the left mouse button and moving the mouse. The map can be rotated by moving it while holding down ctrl or by holding down the right mouse button and moving the mouse.

The map has a toolbar and a sidemenu.

The following functions can be found in the toolbar:

# Side Menu

Side Menu The side menu shows all layers on the map. It can be opened and closed by clicking the sidemenu icon in the Toolbar.

The width of the side menu can be adjusted by dragging on the right side edge of the menu.

The program will zoom onto a project by clicking on the project layer. A project can be expanded by clicking on the expand icon next to the desired project. Pointclouds for projects can be seen only when the project is expanded. Pointclouds can be zoomed upon by clicking the pointcloud layer in the side menu.

The following layers can be toggled on and off using the side menu:

  • Satellite
  • Orthophoto
  • Digital Elevation Model
  • Cadastral map (DK)
  • Projects
  • Pointclouds

All projects or individual projects can be turned on and off. Individual pointclouds can be turned on and off by expanding the project. The project list can be filtered by keywords in the searchfield, or by clicking on the filter icon, which opens up a dialog box, where projects can be selected to be displayed.

By ticking a project, all the project's point clouds are displayed in The pointcloud window. When a project is expanded, checkboxes can be ticked next to individual pointclouds, that are then displayed in the Pointcloud window. Removing a check mark removes a pointcloud from the Pointcloud window. Pointclouds with check marks are also marked in the 2D Map.

# Filter dialog

Filter dialog The projects to be displayed are selected, in the filter dialog box. The list can be filtered by keywords in the searchfield or by date. Filtering by date is displayed by clicking on the menu icon next to the search box. Press apply to activate the selected filtering.

# Information Tool

Information Tool The tool opens a dialog box that displays information about the selected pointclouds. The dialog box can be moved and enlarged by dragging it.

The information is displayed in a tree structure which can be folded in and out.

# Zoom to Extend

The map is zoomed to the outline of all pointclouds.

# Selection

Selection There are 3 tools for selecting pointclouds in the map. By default, the tool to select a single pointcloud is enabled. You can switch between the tools by clicking on the tools in the menu.

# Choose Pointcloud and Set Position

This tool is used to select a single pointcloud. Click on a pointcloud in the map to select it. If pointclouds are already selected, this selection will be removed. Clicking outside a pointcloud in the map will remove all selections.

# Add Pointcloud

This tool adds a pointcloud to a selection.

# Choose Multiple Pointclouds

With this tool, a rectangle can be drawn to select multiple point clouds at once. After the tool is activated, click once on the map to indicate the first corner of the rectangle. Then move the mouse and click on the map to indicate the opposite corner of the rectangle. All point clouds that cross the rectangle are selected.

Toggle search A search field appears when the search address button is clicked. When entering in the search field, dynamic address suggestions are displayed. When selecting a suggestion, the program will zoom to the selected address in the map where the address is highlighted. The selection in the map can be removed by clicking on the cross in the search field. The search field is removed by clicking on the search address button.

# Save Snapshot

when clicking the Snapshot button, a PNG image is generated of the 2D map on the screen

# Bearing

The Bearing button shows the map's rotation relative to north. The map is rotated north by clicking the button.
